St George Online Banking crashes

St George online banking customers were left scratching their heads today after the banks web site crashed during lunchtime today.
Visitors were greeted with an error message that read;
"Internet Banking is temporarily unavailable. Our technical staff are currently investigating the issue and your service will be restored as soon as possible. We apologise for any inconvenience caused."
The St George bank web site is now functional for those wishing to access their personal savings accounts sonline..
